This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled pinctrl: mediatek: Drop bogus slew rate register range for MT8192 to the 6.6-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: pinctrl-mediatek-drop-bogus-slew-rate-register-range.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.6 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit d6be40d6f4931dcd2bd22513cca87b7853b995ab Author: Chen-Yu Tsai <wenst@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed Jan 31 15:19:08 2024 +0800 pinctrl: mediatek: Drop bogus slew rate register range for MT8192 [ Upstream commit e15ab05a6b3ed42f2f43f8bd1a1abdbde64afecd ] The MT8192 does not support configuring pin slew rate. This is evident from both the datasheet, and the fact that the driver points the slew rate register range at the GPIO direction register range. Drop the bogus setting.
