This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled ipmr: fix incorrect parameter validation in the ip_mroute_getsockopt() function to the 6.6-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: ipmr-fix-incorrect-parameter-validation-in-the-ip_mr.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.6 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 0fe0b7a54021cda4fe59bf55ccfc1628a3fdce3e Author: Gavrilov Ilia <Ilia.Gavrilov@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu Mar 7 14:23:50 2024 +0000 ipmr: fix incorrect parameter validation in the ip_mroute_getsockopt() function [ Upstream commit 5c3be3e0eb44b7f978bb6cbb20ad956adb93f736 ] The 'olr' variable can't be negative when assigned the result of 'min_t' because all 'min_t' parameters are cast to unsigned int, and then the minimum one is chosen. To fix the logic, check 'olr' as read from 'optlen', where the types of relevant variables are (signed) int.
