This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled PCI: switchtec: Fix an error handling path in switchtec_pci_probe() to the 6.7-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: pci-switchtec-fix-an-error-handling-path-in-switchte.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.7 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 20aba6988e6ea492c2359d9c5098f5434b98415a Author: Christophe JAILLET <christophe.jaillet@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Sun Dec 24 15:30:01 2023 +0100 PCI: switchtec: Fix an error handling path in switchtec_pci_probe() [ Upstream commit dec529b0b0572b32f9eb91c882dd1f08ca657efb ] The commit in Fixes changed the logic on how resources are released and introduced a new switchtec_exit_pci() that need to be called explicitly in order to undo a corresponding switchtec_init_pci(). This was done in the remove function, but not in the probe. Fix the probe now.
