This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled iommu/vt-d: Remove domain parameter for intel_pasid_setup_dirty_tracking() to the 6.7-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: iommu-vt-d-remove-domain-parameter-for-intel_pasid_s.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.7 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit f6504fa1c4a4f5afcdf5464aa587037d572d1da6 Author: Yi Liu <yi.l.liu@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon Feb 19 19:15:57 2024 +0800 iommu/vt-d: Remove domain parameter for intel_pasid_setup_dirty_tracking() [ Upstream commit 56ecaf6c5834ace14941d7f13dceb48bc3327111 ] The only usage of input @domain is to get the domain id (DID) to flush cache after setting dirty tracking. However, DID can be obtained from the pasid entry. So no need to pass in domain. This can make this helper cleaner when adding the missing dirty tracking for the parent domain, which needs to use the DID of nested domain.
