This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled mptcp: add CurrEstab MIB counter support to the 6.6-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: mptcp-add-currestab-mib-counter-support.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.6 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 62b7728c7f2cf8fbb7c4c0fd8611b66e5ec79647 Author: Geliang Tang <geliang@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri Dec 22 13:47:22 2023 +0100 mptcp: add CurrEstab MIB counter support [ Upstream commit d9cd27b8cd191133e287e5de107f971136abe8a2 ] Add a new MIB counter named MPTCP_MIB_CURRESTAB to count current established MPTCP connections, similar to TCP_MIB_CURRESTAB. This is useful to quickly list the number of MPTCP connections without having to iterate over all of them. This patch adds a new helper function mptcp_set_state(): if the state switches from or to ESTABLISHED state, this newly added counter is incremented. This helper is going to be used in the following patch. Similar to MPTCP_INC_STATS(), a new helper called MPTCP_DEC_STATS() is also needed to decrement a MIB counter.
