This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
hwmon: (nct6775) Fix fan speed set failure in automatic mode
to the 6.7-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:
hwmon-nct6775-fix-fan-speed-set-failure-in-automatic.patch
and it can be found in the queue-6.7 subdirectory.

hwmon: (nct6775) Fix fan speed set failure in automatic mode

Setting the fan speed is only valid in manual mode; it is not possible
to set the fan's speed in automatic mode.
Return error when attempting to set the fan speed in automatic mode.
