This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled thermal: intel: hfi: Refactor enabling code into helper functions to the 6.7-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: thermal-intel-hfi-refactor-enabling-code-into-helper.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.7 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 3f92b215d8655b6745095ad5f194b5935a5e8096 Author: Ricardo Neri <ricardo.neri-calderon@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue Jan 2 20:14:56 2024 -0800 thermal: intel: hfi: Refactor enabling code into helper functions [ Upstream commit 8a8b6bb93c704776c4b05cb517c3fa8baffb72f5 ] In preparation for the addition of a suspend notifier, wrap the logic to enable HFI and program its memory buffer into helper functions. Both the CPU hotplug callback and the suspend notifier will use them. This refactoring does not introduce functional changes.
