This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
platform/x86: wmi: remove unnecessary initializations
to the 5.10-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:
platform-x86-wmi-remove-unnecessary-initializations.patch
and it can be found in the queue-5.10 subdirectory.

platform/x86: wmi: remove unnecessary initializations

Some pointers are initialized when they are defined,
but they are almost immediately reassigned in the
following lines. Remove these superfluous assignments.
