This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled misc: st_core: Do not call kfree_skb() under spin_lock_irqsave() to the 6.6-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: misc-st_core-do-not-call-kfree_skb-under-spin_lock_i.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.6 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 51929fe1d411e76c2dd58678d00313c43d35e2ea Author: Jinjie Ruan <ruanjinjie@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed Aug 23 11:50:20 2023 +0800 misc: st_core: Do not call kfree_skb() under spin_lock_irqsave() [ Upstream commit 4d08c3d12b61022501989f9f071514d2d6f77c47 ] It is not allowed to call kfree_skb() from hardware interrupt context or with hardware interrupts being disabled. So replace kfree_skb() with dev_kfree_skb_irq() under spin_lock_irqsave(). Compile tested only.
