This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: Don't always bind/link the P2P Device interface to the 6.6-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: wifi-iwlwifi-mvm-don-t-always-bind-link-the-p2p-devi.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.6 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit be94682ba5ff93bb152f4bc502a2c731f54ba192 Author: Ilan Peer <ilan.peer@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed Oct 4 12:36:30 2023 +0300 wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: Don't always bind/link the P2P Device interface [ Upstream commit 84ef7cbe90e9e54c71c1da4e645ba34e1b33da77 ] It is not necessary to keep the P2P Device bound/linked to a PHY context when there is no active ROC. Modify the P2P Device flows so the binding/linking would be done only while ROC is active. With this change the switch_phy_ctxt() is no longer needed so remove it.
