This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled xhci: clear usb2 resume related variables in one place. to the 5.10-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: xhci-clear-usb2-resume-related-variables-in-one-plac.patch and it can be found in the queue-5.10 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 4f6f11392db2f4cf07d2f8ab46768c676e1cfce6 Author: Mathias Nyman <mathias.nyman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu Feb 2 17:05:04 2023 +0200 xhci: clear usb2 resume related variables in one place. [ Upstream commit 0e6275452ce26d7ff274a5c1b15ed581a26f7986 ] Initially resume related USB2 variables were cleared once port successfully resumed to U0. Later code was added to clean up stale resume variables in case of port failed to resume to U0. Clear the variables in one place after port is no longer resuming or in suspended U3 state.
