This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
drm/nouveau/disp: fix DP capable DSM connectors
to the 6.5-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:
drm-nouveau-disp-fix-dp-capable-dsm-connectors.patch
and it can be found in the queue-6.5 subdirectory.

Just special case DP DSM connectors until we properly figure out how to
deal with this.
This resolves user regressions on GPUs with such connectors without
reverting the original fix.
