This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled gpio: zynq: restore zynq_gpio_irq_reqres/zynq_gpio_irq_relres callbacks to the 6.5-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: gpio-zynq-restore-zynq_gpio_irq_reqres-zynq_gpio_irq_relres-callbacks.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.5 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. >From 180b10bd160b014448366e5bc86e0558f8acb74f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Daniel Mack <daniel@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 1 Sep 2023 14:24:24 +0200 Subject: gpio: zynq: restore zynq_gpio_irq_reqres/zynq_gpio_irq_relres callbacks From: Daniel Mack <daniel@xxxxxxxxxx> commit 180b10bd160b014448366e5bc86e0558f8acb74f upstream. Commit f56914393537 ("gpio: zynq: fix zynqmp_gpio not an immutable chip warning") ditched the open-coded resource allocation handlers in favor of the generic ones. These generic handlers don't maintain the PM runtime anymore, which causes a regression in that level IRQs are no longer reported. Restore the original handlers to fix this.
