Hi Sasha, Greg,

(Just repeating what Cristian has already mentioned in [1] just to make
sure it is captured in the proper thread/context)

This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

firmware: arm_scmi: Fix chan_free cleanup on SMC

to the 5.15-stable tree which can be found at:
    http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary

The filename of the patch is:
     firmware-arm_scmi-fix-chan_free-cleanup-on-smc.patch
and it can be found in the queue-5.15 subdirectory.

If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,
please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it.

Sorry for all the troubles. This *should* be dropped from v5.15.y queue.
It not only caused build regression, the fixes tag is partially incorrect.
Though the change itself is present in v5.15, the code structure changed
a bit around v5.18 which causes the regression with the change also present
in v5.15

Cristian explained all the details here[1]. Please drop this patch and again
sorry for the fixes tag fix up, sometimes it is hard to pin-point single
change when the code around it has changed. We will try to do more thorough
checking next time when in doubt.

Dropped, thanks!
