This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
octeontx2-pf: Add additional check for MCAM rules
to the 5.15-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:
octeontx2-pf-add-additional-check-for-mcam-rules.patch
and it can be found in the queue-5.15 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,

octeontx2-pf: Add additional check for MCAM rules

Due to hardware limitation, MCAM drop rule with
ether_type == 802.1Q and vlan_id == 0 is not supported. Hence rejecting
such rules.
