This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled irqchip/jcore-aic: Fix missing allocation of IRQ descriptors to the 5.10-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: irqchip-jcore-aic-fix-missing-allocation-of-irq-desc.patch and it can be found in the queue-5.10 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 258d14bec79a9e559ecef460edeb5f3999b9e30e Author: John Paul Adrian Glaubitz <glaubitz@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed May 10 18:33:42 2023 +0200 irqchip/jcore-aic: Fix missing allocation of IRQ descriptors [ Upstream commit 4848229494a323eeaab62eee5574ef9f7de80374 ] The initialization function for the J-Core AIC aic_irq_of_init() is currently missing the call to irq_alloc_descs() which allocates and initializes all the IRQ descriptors. Add missing function call and return the error code from irq_alloc_descs() in case the allocation fails.
