This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled drm/msm/a6xx: don't set IO_PGTABLE_QUIRK_ARM_OUTER_WBWA with coherent SMMU to the 6.3-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: drm-msm-a6xx-don-t-set-io_pgtable_quirk_arm_outer_wb.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.3 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 03be83ecd27cf28950ee2ff3f9110826e5a6b1c9 Author: Dmitry Baryshkov <dmitry.baryshkov@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon Apr 10 21:52:26 2023 +0300 drm/msm/a6xx: don't set IO_PGTABLE_QUIRK_ARM_OUTER_WBWA with coherent SMMU [ Upstream commit 38e27a6fbf2206b18417c5985dbcdeca0f2026b8 ] If the Adreno SMMU is dma-coherent, allocation will fail unless we disable IO_PGTABLE_QUIRK_ARM_OUTER_WBWA. Skip setting this quirk for the coherent SMMUs (like we have on sm8350 platform).
