This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled clk: imx93: fix memory leak and missing unwind goto in imx93_clocks_probe to the 6.4-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: clk-imx93-fix-memory-leak-and-missing-unwind-goto-in.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.4 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 9a6b90a2ad242fe2edbc42503c3efb1fd52bb268 Author: Zhanhao Hu <zero12113@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu Jun 1 03:38:25 2023 +0000 clk: imx93: fix memory leak and missing unwind goto in imx93_clocks_probe [ Upstream commit e02ba11b457647050cb16e7cad16cec3c252fade ] In function probe(), it returns directly without unregistered hws when error occurs. Fix this by adding 'goto unregister_hws;' on line 295 and line 310. Use devm_kzalloc() instead of kzalloc() to automatically free the memory using devm_kfree() when error occurs. Replace of_iomap() with devm_of_iomap() to automatically handle the unused ioremap region and delete 'iounmap(anatop_base);' in unregister_hws.
