This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled Revert "thermal/drivers/mediatek: Use devm_of_iomap to avoid resource leak in mtk_thermal_probe" to the 5.10-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: revert-thermal-drivers-mediatek-use-devm_of_iomap-to-avoid-resource-leak-in-mtk_thermal_probe.patch and it can be found in the queue-5.10 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. >From 86edac7d3888c715fe3a81bd61f3617ecfe2e1dd Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?Ricardo=20Ca=C3=B1uelo?= <ricardo.canuelo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 25 May 2023 14:18:11 +0200 Subject: Revert "thermal/drivers/mediatek: Use devm_of_iomap to avoid resource leak in mtk_thermal_probe" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit From: Ricardo Cañuelo <ricardo.canuelo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> commit 86edac7d3888c715fe3a81bd61f3617ecfe2e1dd upstream. This reverts commit f05c7b7d9ea9477fcc388476c6f4ade8c66d2d26. That change was causing a regression in the generic-adc-thermal-probed bootrr test as reported in the kernelci-results list [1]. A proper rework will take longer, so revert it for now.
