This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled arm64: vdso: Pass (void *) to virt_to_page() to the 6.3-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: arm64-vdso-pass-void-to-virt_to_page.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.3 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit d6a412031eaaa4bedb39d9dc11e05e485d53ab26 Author: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed May 10 08:48:11 2023 +0200 arm64: vdso: Pass (void *) to virt_to_page() [ Upstream commit b0abde80620f42d1ceb3de5e4c1a49cdd5628229 ] Like the other calls in this function virt_to_page() expects a pointer, not an integer. However since many architectures implement virt_to_pfn() as a macro, this function becomes polymorphic and accepts both a (unsigned long) and a (void *). Fix this up with an explicit cast.
