This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled media: rc: gpio-ir-recv: Fix support for wake-up to the 5.10-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: media-rc-gpio-ir-recv-fix-support-for-wake-up.patch and it can be found in the queue-5.10 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 9cf5c3c911b6fd26500d2cb58a74bc606efa57ee Author: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri Mar 24 13:38:33 2023 -0700 media: rc: gpio-ir-recv: Fix support for wake-up [ Upstream commit 9c592f8ab114875fdb3b2040f01818e53de44991 ] The driver was intended from the start to be a wake-up source for the system, however due to the absence of a suitable call to device_set_wakeup_capable(), the device_may_wakeup() call used to decide whether to enable the GPIO interrupt as a wake-up source would never happen. Lookup the DT standard "wakeup-source" property and call device_init_wakeup() to ensure the device is flagged as being wakeup capable.
