This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled wifi: ath11k: fix SAC bug on peer addition with sta band migration to the 6.2-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: wifi-ath11k-fix-sac-bug-on-peer-addition-with-sta-ba.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.2 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 4734774eb63065b0ac11a3efb48e513afaacd474 Author: Christian Marangi <ansuelsmth@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu Feb 9 23:26:22 2023 +0100 wifi: ath11k: fix SAC bug on peer addition with sta band migration [ Upstream commit 60b7d62ba8cdbd073997bff0f1cdae8d844002c0 ] Fix sleep in atomic context warning detected by Smatch static checker analyzer. Following the locking pattern for peer_rhash_add lock tbl_mtx_lock mutex always even if sta is not transitioning to another band. This is peer_add function and a more secure locking should not cause performance regression.
