This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled spi: f_ospi: Add missing spi_mem_default_supports_op() helper to the 6.3-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: spi-f_ospi-add-missing-spi_mem_default_supports_op-h.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.3 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 4f3262177a081746a12509bb892aab58502fd4ec Author: Kunihiko Hayashi <hayashi.kunihiko@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed Mar 22 11:31:01 2023 +0900 spi: f_ospi: Add missing spi_mem_default_supports_op() helper [ Upstream commit bc43c5ec1a97772269785d19f62d32c91ac5fc36 ] The .supports_op() callback function returns true by default after performing driver-specific checks. Therefore the driver cannot apply the buswidth in devicetree. Call spi_mem_default_supports_op() helper to handle the buswidth in devicetree.
