This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled PCI: dwc: Fix PORT_LINK_CONTROL update when CDM check enabled to the 6.2-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: pci-dwc-fix-port_link_control-update-when-cdm-check-.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.2 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit bdf4322824cd8e73cc6bf3891b5de4cd8a1c8b10 Author: Yoshihiro Shimoda <yoshihiro.shimoda.uh@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri Mar 10 21:34:58 2023 +0900 PCI: dwc: Fix PORT_LINK_CONTROL update when CDM check enabled [ Upstream commit cdce67099117ece371582f706c6eff7d3a65326d ] If CDM_CHECK is enabled (by the DT "snps,enable-cdm-check" property), 'val' is overwritten by PCIE_PL_CHK_REG_CONTROL_STATUS initialization. Commit ec7b952f453c ("PCI: dwc: Always enable CDM check if "snps,enable-cdm-check" exists") did not account for further usage of 'val', so we wrote improper values to PCIE_PORT_LINK_CONTROL when the CDM check is enabled. Move the PCIE_PORT_LINK_CONTROL update to be completely after the PCIE_PL_CHK_REG_CONTROL_STATUS register initialization.
