This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled arm64: dts: qcom: sc7280: Mark PCIe controller as cache coherent to the 6.2-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: arm64-dts-qcom-sc7280-mark-pcie-controller-as-cache-coherent.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.2 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. >From 8a63441e83724fee1ef3fd37b237d40d90780766 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Krishna chaitanya chundru <quic_krichai@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 28 Feb 2023 17:19:12 +0530 Subject: arm64: dts: qcom: sc7280: Mark PCIe controller as cache coherent From: Krishna chaitanya chundru <quic_krichai@xxxxxxxxxxx> commit 8a63441e83724fee1ef3fd37b237d40d90780766 upstream. If the controller is not marked as cache coherent, then kernel will try to ensure coherency during dma-ops and that may cause data corruption. So, mark the PCIe node as dma-coherent as the devices on PCIe bus are cache coherent.
