This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled powerpc/iommu: fix memory leak with using debugfs_lookup() to the 6.1-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: powerpc-iommu-fix-memory-leak-with-using-debugfs_loo.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.1 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 4b79d56b016eae9710b5748c5ccd08d5c9b83a63 Author: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu Feb 2 15:19:19 2023 +0100 powerpc/iommu: fix memory leak with using debugfs_lookup() [ Upstream commit b505063910c134778202dfad9332dfcecb76bab3 ] When calling debugfs_lookup() the result must have dput() called on it, otherwise the memory will leak over time. To make things simpler, just call debugfs_lookup_and_remove() instead which handles all of the logic at once.
