This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

ext4: Fix possible corruption when moving a directory

to the 6.2-stable tree which can be found at:
    http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary

The filename of the patch is:
     ext4-fix-possible-corruption-when-moving-a-directory.patch
and it can be found in the queue-6.2 subdirectory.

If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,
please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it.

Sasha, we've asked Greg to leave this out from stable tree because there
was a known regression caused by this fix. Why was it included in stable
again?

That being said the fix for the regression has just been pulled by Linus
yesterday so if you include also commit 3c92792da850 ("ext4: Fix deadlock
during directory rename"), this commit is also fine to be included now.

Sorry, yes, it's coming too - I'm catching up with the list of stable
tagged commits we haven't pulled in yet.
