This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled scsi: snic: Fix memory leak with using debugfs_lookup() to the 6.2-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: scsi-snic-fix-memory-leak-with-using-debugfs_lookup.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.2 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 4578e681dacfb5489c9f3fee9e5a30798e5e33d9 Author: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu Feb 2 15:10:09 2023 +0100 scsi: snic: Fix memory leak with using debugfs_lookup() [ Upstream commit ad0e4e2fab928477f74d742e6e77d79245d3d3e7 ] When calling debugfs_lookup() the result must have dput() called on it, otherwise the memory will leak over time. To make things simpler, just call debugfs_lookup_and_remove() instead which handles all of the logic at once.
