This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled kselftest/arm64: Fix syscall-abi for systems without 128 bit SME to the 6.2-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: kselftest-arm64-fix-syscall-abi-for-systems-without-.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.2 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit fb6959a1ba6659e8fe0de386522fa1f1c024cae9 Author: Mark Brown <broonie@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue Dec 27 13:06:35 2022 +0000 kselftest/arm64: Fix syscall-abi for systems without 128 bit SME [ Upstream commit 97ec597b26df774a257e3f8e97353fd1b4471615 ] SME does not mandate any specific VL so we may not have 128 bit SME but the algorithm used for enumerating VLs assumes that we will. Add the required check to ensure that the algorithm terminates.
