This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
Revert "r8169: disable detection of chip version 36"
to the 6.1-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:
revert-r8169-disable-detection-of-chip-version-36.patch
and it can be found in the queue-6.1 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,

This reverts commit 42666b2c452ce87894786aae05e3fad3cfc6cb59.
This chip version seems to be very rare, but it exits in consumer
devices, see linked report.
