This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    io_uring: check for valid register opcode earlier

to the 5.15-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:
     io_uring-check-for-valid-register-opcode-earlier.patch
and it can be found in the queue-5.15 subdirectory.

    We only check the register opcode value inside the restricted ring
    section, move it into the main io_uring_register() function instead
    and check it up front.
