This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled clk: qcom: gcc-sm8250: Use retention mode for USB GDSCs to the 5.10-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: clk-qcom-gcc-sm8250-use-retention-mode-for-usb-gdscs.patch and it can be found in the queue-5.10 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit bf630b8f25a97317224d6674698bdd2a0a382c17 Author: Manivannan Sadhasivam <mani@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed Nov 2 14:43:20 2022 +0530 clk: qcom: gcc-sm8250: Use retention mode for USB GDSCs [ Upstream commit ac1c5a03d3772b1db25e8092f771aa33f6ae2f7e ] USB controllers on SM8250 doesn't work after coming back from suspend. This can be fixed by keeping the USB GDSCs in retention mode so that hardware can keep them ON and put into rentention mode once the parent domain goes to a low power state.
