This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled vmxnet3: correctly report encapsulated LRO packet to the 6.0-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: vmxnet3-correctly-report-encapsulated-lro-packet.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.0 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit f077bc52be1eb73e39a0dff01017f782fae74ff7 Author: Ronak Doshi <doshir@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed Nov 30 00:21:46 2022 -0800 vmxnet3: correctly report encapsulated LRO packet [ Upstream commit 40b8c2a1af03ba3e8da55a4490d646bfa845e71a ] Commit dacce2be3312 ("vmxnet3: add geneve and vxlan tunnel offload support") added support for encapsulation offload. However, the pathc did not report correctly the encapsulated packet which is LRO'ed by the hypervisor. This patch fixes this issue by using correct callback for the LRO'ed encapsulated packet.
