This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled dmaengine: at_hdmac: Fix descriptor handling when issuing it to hardware to the 6.0-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: dmaengine-at_hdmac-fix-descriptor-handling-when-issuing-it-to-hardware.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.0 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. >From ba2423633ba646e1df20e30cb3cf35495c16f173 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Tudor Ambarus <tudor.ambarus@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 25 Oct 2022 12:02:45 +0300 Subject: dmaengine: at_hdmac: Fix descriptor handling when issuing it to hardware From: Tudor Ambarus <tudor.ambarus@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> commit ba2423633ba646e1df20e30cb3cf35495c16f173 upstream. As it was before, the descriptor was issued to the hardware without adding it to the active (issued) list. This could result in a completion of other descriptor, or/and in the descriptor never being completed.
