This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled usb: dwc3: Don't switch OTG -> peripheral if extcon is present to the 6.0-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: usb-dwc3-don-t-switch-otg-peripheral-if-extcon-is-present.patch and it can be found in the queue-6.0 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. >From d182c2e1bc92084c038b44c618f29589a4de9f66 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Andrey Smirnov <andrew.smirnov@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 18 Oct 2022 02:35:10 +0300 Subject: usb: dwc3: Don't switch OTG -> peripheral if extcon is present From: Andrey Smirnov <andrew.smirnov@xxxxxxxxx> commit d182c2e1bc92084c038b44c618f29589a4de9f66 upstream. If the extcon device exists, get the mode from the extcon device. If the controller is DRD and the driver is unable to determine the mode, only then default the dr_mode to USB_DR_MODE_PERIPHERAL.
