Thanks, I've now dropped it from the 5.15.y queue.

Yeah, my fault on adding just that one, I shouldn't have.

I think it is already reverted in all stable kernels.  I do not see any
released kernel that it is still in, unless I missed one?

They should have known better.  Kernel development is done in public.
Feel free to route stuff like that to /dev/null until they are willing
to discuss it in public.
