This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled drm/bridge: Avoid uninitialized variable warning to the 5.10-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: drm-bridge-avoid-uninitialized-variable-warning.patch and it can be found in the queue-5.10 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 1226d9edd2bace51b9b20b5e04804ca53b7eb708 Author: Dan Carpenter <dan.carpenter@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon Jul 4 13:55:40 2022 +0300 drm/bridge: Avoid uninitialized variable warning [ Upstream commit 7d1202738efda60155d98b370b3c70d336be0eea ] This code works, but technically it uses "num_in_bus_fmts" before it has been initialized so it leads to static checker warnings and probably KMEMsan warnings at run time. Initialize the variable to zero to silence the warning.
