This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
hwmon: (lm90) Mark alert as broken for MAX6646/6647/6649
to the 5.16-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:
hwmon-lm90-mark-alert-as-broken-for-max6646-6647-6649.patch
and it can be found in the queue-5.16 subdirectory.

Experiments with MAX6646 and MAX6648 show that the alert function of those
chips is broken, similar to other chips supported by the lm90 driver.
Mark it accordingly.
