This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled platform/chrome: cros_ec_proto: Add LID and BATTERY to default mask to the 5.10-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: platform-chrome-cros_ec_proto-add-lid-and-battery-to.patch and it can be found in the queue-5.10 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit 80060d0fc39eb594a4cebf26d4f79d449f40132d Author: Evan Benn <evanbenn@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed Dec 9 22:03:55 2020 +0000 platform/chrome: cros_ec_proto: Add LID and BATTERY to default mask [ Upstream commit 852405d8efcbca0e02f14592fb1d1dcd0d3fb508 ] After 'platform/chrome: cros_ec_proto: Use EC_HOST_EVENT_MASK not BIT' some of the flags are not quite correct. LID_CLOSED is used to suspend the device, so it makes sense to ignore that. BATTERY events are also frequent and causing spurious wakes on elm/hana mt8173 devices.
