This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled arm64: dts: exynos: correct PMIC interrupt trigger level on Espresso to the 5.10-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary The filename of the patch is: arm64-dts-exynos-correct-pmic-interrupt-trigger-leve.patch and it can be found in the queue-5.10 subdirectory. If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it. commit e3006562e45aaacd7957ee24f3d1fd353c5534d6 Author: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu Dec 10 22:29:02 2020 +0100 arm64: dts: exynos: correct PMIC interrupt trigger level on Espresso [ Upstream commit 1fea2eb2f5bbd3fbbe2513d2386b5f6e6db17fd7 ] The Samsung PMIC datasheets describe the interrupt line as active low with a requirement of acknowledge from the CPU. Without specifying the interrupt type in Devicetree, kernel might apply some fixed configuration, not necessarily working for this hardware.
