This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
watchdog: Use put_device on error
to the 5.9-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:
watchdog-use-put_device-on-error.patch
and it can be found in the queue-5.9 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,

We should use put_device() instead of freeing device
directly after device_initialize().
