This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    net: dsa: rtl8366: Skip PVID setting if not requested

to the 5.9-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:
     net-dsa-rtl8366-skip-pvid-setting-if-not-requested.patch
and it can be found in the queue-5.9 subdirectory.

If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,

    We go to lengths to determine whether the PVID should be set
    for this port or not, and then fail to take it into account.
    Fix this oversight.
