Hi,

Sorry about the late reply. Finally we figured out the problem to be
with the DNS server. The DNS server could not resolve the hostname of
the server, and it takes about 1 minute to revert to the /etc/hosts
file. The solution we found was to specify the name resolution order
to be first local and then bind, to prevent any further problems.
