SSH failing from the secondary IP

Hi,

I have a AIX box with dual network interfaces. After configuring the
system I'm getting the following error when I try to connect through
one of the IP addresses.

$ ssh -vvv root@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
OpenSSH_5.1p1, OpenSSL 0.9.8j 07 Jan 2009

But I can reach the same machine with the other IP address. Any
pointers would be highly appreciated.

Thanx,
