By default, OpenSSH appends the hostname or IP address to the username when opening a session to a server. Is it possible to disable the default behavior so that it only sends the username? I'm running MacOSX and I believe the version of OpenSSH is 1.22 (the ssh_config file provides the following information: OpenBSD: ssh_config,v 1.22 2006/05/29 12:56:33 dtucker Exp).
