Hi all,

reading about Squirrel Mail on wikipedia pages still provides you with
misleading information about the current status of development.
They claim, that 1.4.22 ist the latest stable version, everything above is
"svn", hence experimental. No word about PHP7 compatibility.

So, people believe that development has stopped and Squirrel Mail were dead.

This concerns the Enlish page:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SquirrelMail

and the German one is outdated in the same way.
I already updated it:

    https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/SquirrelMail

but all I edited is still "unreviewed" ("ungesichtete Aenderungen") and
the outdated info is still sold as the truth.

Is there a way to force them to accept updated infos or to accelerate the
review procedure?

Best regards,

Markus

Hi,

regarding the German Wikipedia: Before I review the change: Is the "1.4.23-svn" snapshot really usable as daily driver?

In my opinion, the sentence
"
Die aktuelle Programmversion 1.4.23-svn ist getestet bis PHP Version 7.3 und wurde Ende 2017 freigegeben. Sie ersetzt Version 1.4.22, welche nur bis PHP-Version 5.3 lauffähig war.
"

is not right - as "1.4.23-svn" is no fixed version, but a living branch.

Best regards,
Michael Fritscher
