Can't create INBOX.Sent Postfix/Cyrus-Imapd/Squirrelmail

I've spent days googling, and reading.  Lots of posts, no solutions.

After the login page, I get:
*ERROR: Could not complete request.*
Query: CREATE "INBOX.Sent"
Reason Given: Permission denied

I really could use some help.  Thanks!

I'd go to dovecot, but I have several gigs of old mail in Cyrus'
proprietary format...
