Unable to forward/reply complete mails from word/outlook 2012 (new MS non-compliance?)

Paul, Tomas,

  I have an issue that started a month or so ago with users not being able to
reply to or forward the complete conversations in 1.5.2 when the message sent is
from outlook 2012. I don't know if this is just the latest outlook non-standard
compliance showing up as more people use the latest MS mailer or what the
problem is. I have fully updated svn 1.5.2 (svnversion 14265:14327M).

  What happens is when a user tries to reply-to or forward a message received
from outlook 2012, parts of the original message are not included in the reply
or forward. Sometimes the recipient just gets the new text included in the reply
or sometimes just the original message. (I'm still trying to pin down exactly
what the deal is) This appears involves mail received from OL 2012 that includes
html encapsulation. When the messages are mixed (plain text/html) squirrelmail
shows the html part as (untitled-[1.2].html) when Options -> Display -> Show
HTML Version by Default [ ] (is unchecked).

  Looking at the message source, for the message, the html portion is
encapsulated as follows:

------=_20120613165746_78000
Content-Type: text/html; name="untitled-[1.2].html"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="untitled-[1.2].html"

<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;
charset=us-ascii"><meta name="Generator" content="Microsoft Word 12 (filtered
medium)"><style><!--
/* Font Definitions */
@font-face
	{font-family:"Cambria Math";
	panose-1:2 4 5 3 5 4 6 3 2 4;}
<snip>

  So I'm not sure if this is outlook per-se, or if this is some screwy way they
bundle mail from ms-word and send it through outlook.

  Squirrelmail properly shows the html when you click 'view' to view the html,
but for some reason there is a problem including the entire email when hitting
reply/forward.

  I'm fairly certain that this isn't a squirrelmail problem, but rather a MS has
done something screwy problem -- and -- how do we work with it now problem.

  Basically what I want to know is:

(1) Are you guys familiar with this issue?; and
(2) Can I send you anything else that will help fix it?

  I don't know if it is just particular to my setup, but my setup is fairly
standard:

apache 2.2.22-4
php 5.4.3-4
dovecot 2.1.7-4

  Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
