I've been using OpenWebMail for years and have finally decided to switch over to SquirrelMail. Squirrel seems a lot faster at loading large mailboxes (of which there are a handful on my mail server), and OpenWebMail hasn't been updated for several years and doesn't seem to be very well supported anymore.
Overall, I like SquirrelMail a lot. However, a couple of users have asked me about something which OpenWebMail did, but SquirrelMail doesn't seem to do: Is there a way to have SquirrelMail show the message number when you're looking at the message list for a particular folder? I've looked through options and didn't see anything, and I also browsed through the Plugins, but didn't find anything that seemed to provide that functionality, either.
Any thoughts, suggestions, or advice?
Thanks!
