SquirrelMail takes your log in credentials and pass them to the IMAP server. The IMAP server verifies that the credentials are valid and gives you access. If you can't log in through SquirrelMail, make sure that you can log in using other tools. CLI Example: mutt -f imap://[username]@[imapserver] X Example: Thunderbird or any similar client. If no other clients work you have a problem with your IMAP server. Make sure that the account really is added to the IMAP server and check you IMAP server configuration. Describe all things you tested in a mail to this mailing list if you still can't get it to work. Include log files form your IMAP server showing a failed log in with SquirrelMail and a successful log in with another client.
